Meet The Groups

All are Welcome
Micah & Laura Shippee
Our group will be focused to share our home and love for Jesus with others.

We are seeking to build bridges, win souls, and help grow relationships with Jesus within the international
community of Syracuse. Anyone who wants to help with our stated goal above or is part of the international
community of Syracuse
Andy & Abby Hockenbery
We are committed to being home fellowship leaders because we care about the people in our church and community; and we want to help them in the Lord as much as possible.

Whosoever is hungry for God. We would love people who can play instruments.
Rich & Roxanne Carrier
We believe home fellowships are very instrumental in growing church membership, offering “pastoral care”
to those who need extra encouragement, improving our reputation, and in helping the youth feel they have
ownership in the meeting. I feel the Eastwood area is a critical spot that needs to maintain an HF.

Anyone who is hungry for more of the Lord and not watchin’ the clock. We would love a musician who
could lead us in worship.
Tom & Amy Farley
We love fellowship and hosting the saints.

Any age, 12 and up, as long as you are seeking to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Judah & Elisha Connor
We believe in creating space for God to move not just in a church building, but in our home and in our
everyday lives. Our desire is for our home to be filled with His presence and to be a light in a dark world.
Leading a small group is one way we can open our doors and hearts to others, build meaningful community,
and grow together in faith.

All ages and any experience are welcome.
Ryan & Emily Domer
We want our home to be used in service to the Lord and the church.

From college-aged to seniors; people from other countries; new believers.
Scott & Jean LaBarge
We want to strengthen the church, create a greater bond of unity, acquire a deeper understanding of God’s Word, and grow closer to Him.

The vision of this home fellowship is to raise up strong Christian leaders who will carry the message of
salvation to this generation.
We welcome individuals of high school age and older. Musicians with a desire to grow into worship leaders
are especially encouraged to be a part of what God is doing here.
Chris and Joanne Walsh
We have always been leaders for Jesus during our 30+ years of being saved. The spiritual growth in our children has been, in a large part, due to HF and we support the growth of HF wholeheartedly.

We need those who want to dig into God’s Word! We have enough children.
Jonathan & Natalie
Gray
HF is necessary for a healthy and vibrant church. People need a space to work through their doubts with a
community, who will read the Bible alongside them and support them in prayer.

20 years old and up.
James & Joanne Weimar
Apostle Paul’s example, Acts 28:30, “…And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and
received all that came in unto him…” The Lord spoke to us, “Serve Him where you are.”

Anyone who wants to seek the Lord with us. We currently have our limit of children, please.
Jim & Karen Hockenbery
We believe home fellowships are valuable in helping us grow in Christ. We are working on giving pastoral
care to our members, putting a positive light on our church in the community, helping our brethren endure,
and leading the unchurched to salvation.

Anyone. Children are welcome, and we will do our best to encourage them to remain in the fellowship with
us.
Aaron & Jennifer Dean
We and our HF members love to come together and learn about the Bible, see things from new perspectives,
encourage each other, care for each other, and grow together through ministry. We love HF and are so glad the Lord pushed us to lead the North Country HF.

Anyone who wants to seek the Lord with us. We currently have our limit of children, please.
John & Jamie Laurin
We love the concept of an open forum for sharing and watching the brethren speak their hearts while also learning from others.

We would love to add some youth to the mix, but we can’t accommodate children very well.
Steve & Michelle Sleight
We want to lead people to Christ and continue with Him. Home fellowships allow us to do this in a
practical way. It was rewarding to see one of our young members become a home fellowship leader and for
our own children to grow and develop as leaders.

All are welcome!
Josh & Jenny Brown
We want to spend time with and get to know the Brethren. Hearing testimonies and growing together in Christ has really inspired us!

Any age, especially if you are seeking help with grief or personal loss.
Melba and Doby James
Through personal experience, we became deeply aware of a group we felt compelled to reach out to - those
who have experienced trials through grief and loss, as well as those who may benefit from preparing their
hearts for it. We sensed a strong desire to open our home and create a space to share comforting testimonies
of the Lord’s grace and mercy in the midst of trials. Being a HF leader
has helped me and my mother tremendously in our healing and for me personally, it’s the best way I can
share my Poppy’s testimony and honor his legacy.

College-aged, but we need some old-timers, too.
Jason & Kristin Keim
The Lord has put it on our heart to work with the age group that we are working with in our HF and we feel
that it has benefited and continues to benefit the members.

We want people with questions, who want to know more about God.
Jeff & Jessica Reals
To know our members better, understanding each one’s commitment to Christ through their trials. To learn their insights and perspectives.

Our experience so far has been with families of many children. We would like to limit the number of children.
Dan & Jenny Plewak
Home fellowships have been a huge blessing to the church and its members. God has given us the grace to support the program in this way. I feel we have a double blessing as leaders, not only to be part of the HF meeting, but also for the Spirit of the Lord to be moving in our home.

Women of any age.
Danielle Laurin & Julie Richardson
Our fellowship strives to be a safe space to share both blessings and struggles. Danielle says, “About two years [into HFs], I was asked to become the leader, and I felt so well prepared due to the camaraderie that
was built and guidance that was provided.” Julie says, “I strive to be a committed home fellowship leader,
because it was a former home fellowship leader that encouraged me to come back to church after a period away.”

Anyone except for young children.
Edward and Diane Knack
Home Fellowships are a wonderful part of our Church’s ministry and we consider it a privilege to serve as
HF leaders. We also love getting to know our brethren better by having them in our home.

Whosoever is hungry for God.
Stan & Lindi Bray
To serve the Lord to the best of our ability and serve the brethren; to see the Lord add the increase.

Any age, 12 and up, as long as you are seeking to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Carolyn Bolowsky
To serve my brethren by providing a comfortable, loving, warm, and caring environment for the saved and unsaved alike; to learn more about God’s Word and each other.

Older teens and early twenties, young couples, young families, older couples.
Mike & Auddie Mastroleo
Home Fellowship offers a unique opportunity for people across different ages and walks of life to gather in Jesus’ name, nurture their relationship with God, and develop (or deepen) relationships with other believers.
We believe this time is essential for the growth and maturing of believers in a local church.

We would like to add some youth to our mature fellowship.
Deng & Alexa Gai
We believe we are called to grow in the Lord daily, and that growth doesn’t come from going our own way, but from walking together—encouraging one another, deepening our relationship with Him, and building
stronger relationships with each other.

Everyone are Welcome
Frank & Pat Babiarz
Occupy ‘til He comes! We want to be all in and support the vision of our local church and encourage others
to do the same.

Old, young, teens, singles, couples, families, single parent families, and they all “fit”!
Jeremy & Jeanette Prosser
Our mission is to lead seekers to Christ and support others as they continue to grow in their personal relationship with Him. It is our hearts' desire to reach out to our neighbors, colleagues & acquaintances, and create a welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable asking questions, exploring the Bible, and discovering what it means to truly know and follow Jesus.

We already have several children between our family, our assistants, and new members who will stay with us. We would really like to
add members who aren't parents with small children. Outside of that, we are really excited to have anyone to our home. We want to get to know brethren, make the hungry feel welcome, and minster to all.
Isaiah & Kurryn Rocine
We take the command to "love our neighbors" seriously. We think its a delight to get to know new people, especially fellow believers, and that you learn a lot by building relationships with others.

Any age including children.
Isaac & Jerilyn Williams
To serve my brethren by providing a comfortable, loving, warm, and caring environment for the saved and unsaved alike; to learn more about God’s Word and each other.

Living Word alumni in college, high school seniors, young people.
Timothy Plewak
We desire to see when a group is on fire together. I see a great potential in taking advantage of home fellowship to increase unity and strength among a generation that is
required to serve the lord with all their heart.
